Our Space

With our space (Room C-220), we seek to cultivate a welcoming space rooted in practices of care, authenticity, and shared accountability — a place where all students feel comfortable being their whole selves.

Lounge

During open hours, Âé¶¹¹û¶³ students, staff, and faculty are welcome to stop by Room C-220 hang out, socialize, study, and/or enjoy a hot beverage in the lounge area, which features comfortable seating for relaxing as well as a coffee maker, refrigerator, and microwave.

Our space also includes a We Care Satellite Food Pantry stocked with ready-to-eat items like microwave soups and meals, granola and/or breakfast bars, and protein shakes. 

Lending Library

The Women’s Center offers a growing library containing over 200 books, including autobiographies, memoirs, biographies, fiction, and nonfiction. Our collection explores topics related to feminism, women, gender, and sexuality.

You may use books from the collection while in the center or you may sign-up for a patron account and check them out for two weeks with the option to renew. Search our and/or visit us in Room C-220 to peruse our shelves.

Creativity Corner

Crafting is a feminist practice — an outlet for expression, care, and resistance. We offer supplies for creativity and relaxation, including:

  • Zine making materials (paper, pens, magazines, glue, staplers, etc.)
  • Bracelet-making beads
  • Collaging materials
  • Coloring pages and art supplies
  • Paint and brushes
  • Air-dry clay
